My art is a metaphor of the present consumerist society and its contagion over its disillusioned inhabitants, in where the society itself can be viewed as the chapel of man’s existence or even man himself. I perceive the world through a fissured looking glass, which reflects man’s truest and darkest desires. I see what everyone fails to see, or perhaps what everyone refuses to see. Technically, my paintings are consisting of colorful, albeit nightmarish creatures that had been composed in a spontaneous, maximalist rendition. I have abandoned the constraints of figurative proportions and resorted to the distortion of the perfected human figure because within the contortion of such visceral imageries I find the purest and most natural expression of the human soul.
